I think Wii Component Video Cable is expensive and only needed for larger screens 32″ or greater. The standard Wii package only had included a SCART connection and in layman’s terms that means a poor picture quality some times ago. But I would say the quality is two or threefold improved today.

This tv is superb and is an excellent value at the street price it can be had at. It is far superior to the LCD Vizio it replaced. ( the Vizio met an untimely death due to an accident while moving) All aspects of performance are better than what I have experienced before, from standard def to bluray to gaming.
